This Privacy Policy explains in detail what personal and property information we collect, how we use and protect that information, how we interact with third-party services (including Google APIs and Google Drive storage), and the choices and rights you have regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

4. Google API Services & Google Drive Data Usage Disclosure

Peach Appeals uses Google Maps Platform APIs (to display property location maps, aerial imagery, and street-level views) and Google Drive APIs (operated strictly within Peach Appeals' internal administrative Google Workspace/Drive account) to store and organize generated appeal packages (`.pdf` and `.docx` files) and homeowner-submitted property condition attachments.

Peach Appeals' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We do not access, read, or modify any external customer's personal Google Drive account.
  • We do not sell, rent, or transfer Google API data or customer data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or data brokering.
  • We do not use Google API data for serving personalized advertisements or training generalized third-party artificial intelligence models.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • County Tax Authorities: When you authorize Peach Appeals to file or support your property tax appeal, we submit your appeal form, comparable evidence dossier, and supporting property condition documentation to the relevant Georgia County Board of Tax Assessors and/or Board of Equalization.
  • Essential Service Providers: We use trusted infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations to operate our platform, including cloud hosting and database providers (Google Cloud Platform / Firebase / Neon PostgreSQL), payment processing (Stripe), and transactional email delivery (Resend).
  • Legal Obligations: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the legal rights and safety of Peach Appeals, our users, or the public.

6. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards—including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted cloud database storage, role-based administrative access controls, and cryptographic signature hashing—to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

We retain property tax appeal records, evidence packages, and signed authorization letters for the duration of your active appeal cycle (including any applicable three-year assessment freeze period under O.C.G.A. § 48-5-299(c)) and as required for tax, audit, and legal compliance.
